I always get those NTFS.sys errors with all version and could never get SD to work on my system. Must be some driver conflict somewhere.

You really need to be somewhat more precise in what you are attempting to accomplish.

At this point neither product is able to extend a single shadow session across a system restart. What this means is that, if an application requires a restart to complete an installation, you will not be able to execute the installation in a shadowed state. What you can do is a normal installation and use it while in a shadow session, but the install/uninstall steps will need to be executed on the live system. Depending on the nature of the program, that could be either useful or of precious little use.

As for testing malware..., be cautious and prepared. These applications are not always bulletproof. If you walk through the changelogs, some items address specific gaps in coverage uncovered in use. These are the types of things you don't want to be the first to uncover.

For either activity, an off machine recovery solution is still recommended.

    Hi,

    A word of caution:

Your DefenseWall may have conflict issues with Shadow Defense (?) .

There might be some problems but I don't have not a single before this mystery ntfs.sys problem. But hey that's internal beta version. What else I can except ;)
