Hello, Regarding SpywareGuard ver. 2.2, is this supposed to do something, or advise when it actually blocks or prevents something? SG has been in my system tray for along time. The only entry in "reports" is something about, Google Desktop Search.

Also, Microsoft anti-spyware when run wants to be active in the system tray, or offer real time protection. Can SG & Microsoft AntiSpyware play happily in the system tray together? Or should only one be allowed to exsist in the system tray. If only one should be in the tray which one would be best?

    Thanks

    Spyware Guard does the following.
    • Prevents Hijack on homepage
    • Prevents you from downloading bad files from the internet
    • Catches and blocks spyware before it is executed

I think Spyware Guard would work, but I dont know because I dont use MSAS.

    Regards,

I have definatlly had SG alert me to different changes something wanted to make. I will continue to use it as part of my layered security. ;)
