Severe PG 3 slowdown when Alerts tab fills up

    The sorting routines are already as optimized as they can be. Windows list-views aren't the fastest controls going around when it comes to sorting, especially a few thousand items.

    I'm thinking now I will just remove the sorting when new items are added, but still allow the user to sort the columns "after the fact" so to speak.

    Very cool, Jason, PG 3.10 has laid this problem to rest! I'm up to 7000 alerts now and it hasn't slowed down a bit. Procguard.exe is holding steady at 3-5% CPU, there's 25-30% System Idle and this is on a little P3-800 laptop with 128Meg.
