I am sorry if this has been stated elsewhere. I have search the forums and couldn't find anything.

I would like to do the following:
I want to remotely push out v4 silently, then when the install is finish, pop up a dialog box saying "Your computer will be rebooting in 2 minutes. Please save your data." Then in 2 minutes have the computer automatically reboot.

Can this be done from the commandline options in the Remote Administrator?

    Thanks.

    Hello FriedCherry,

Set the following parameters in your installation package:

NOTE: Do this when you first create your package or if you have already created the package, click Edit on the package and add the following.

    1. Go to ESET Smart Security, ESET NOD32 Antivirus -> ESET Kernel -> Setup -> Scheduler/Planner -> Scheduler/Planner: Total 0/0 (tasks/to date) and click Edit.

    2. Click Add and select Run external application then click Next.

    3. Enter in task name and select Run the task Once then click Next.

    4. Enter in today's date and five minutes from now for the execution time. This will ensure that it runs as soon as it is finished installing.

    5. Select Run the task as soon as possible and click Next.

    6. Click Finish.

    7. Enter in the same description as earlier.

    8. Enter the following for the values:

    File: shutdown.exe
    Work directory: C:\Windows\System32\
    Command line: -r -t 120

    9. Click OK and then click File -> Save.

You can then run your push install from there and your users will receive a two minute shutdown warning. It would also be good to send out an email to your users to warn about the restart.

    Thank you,
    Richard
