My dad was not so happy with his Norton av so I put a trial version of nod on his pc. It set up fine except, I was unable to set up a password. It asked for the password and confirmation but would not lock the system. Is the password feature supposed to work in the trial version? He is much happier with nod and intends to buy it this week.

You shouldn't need a password in the trial version. Did you download the commercial version or the trial version?

Do you mean a password to protect NOD32 settings by chance?

What I am asking is, with the trial version can you password protect settings? It didn't seem to work on the trial version.
