Security firms warn of spreading Windows AutoRun malware

    Win 7 Pro or higher, using gpedit.msc... I think it's similar in Vista and XP Pro.

    I though Microsoft released an update sometime back that disabled autorun?

    My USBs' all share autorun.inf which AppGuard proudly declares from time to time that it "PREVENTED ACCESS TO AUTORUN.inf". AppGuard only reacts to an incident doesn't it? It can't sniff out something like autorun.inf before it 'activates' like an AV can it?

    Wish someone could tell me how to delete 'em.
