    It could be a windows 7 problem even.
    but avast needs to be connected to a server permanently because it has streaming updates.:blink:

    I do think the firewalls involved have a problem with local host proxies.:D
    Its not avast which is at fault its the firewalls not functioning correctly.

    The question is who is streaming the updates , me or the server used by avast :)

    id lose comodo, its a spy-wall that phones home and scans your computer for *.exe and uploads data on them all in name of security .ill pass on that topic my self :p
