after reading through the beta t&c, we aren't allowed to disclose anything sadly, but one thing i gotta say, APEX is looking prettttty neat
Just finished installing the new beta v5.0.0 over the top and rebooting as directed, after getting the update to v4.9.10 earlier. Don't see anything different, yet!

Nothing to say that I can't, either. I logged into my SecureAge portal account, but I couldn't find/see where to post comments about the new beta. I guess I will be informed by the powers that be, eventually.
Way to earn points when participating in the SecureAPlus APEX Beta Testing. I don't see much opportunity for me to earn points. I just don't get into trouble, and never come across any Unique Files. Here are the 6 ways you can earn points during the Beta: * Unique Files Scanned * False Positives / False Negatives Submissions * Fileless Attack Submissions * WSL Submissions * Bug Reports / Suggestions, * Surveys * Beta Tester Referrals
In a nutshell the NDA means that you can’t publish the Beta client or talk about the inner workings of our software at the source code level in public. Otherwise please feel free to discuss the Beta including anything we have already made public.
thanks for the confirmation, great! after throwing a few dozen samples at APEX, i feel like it should always show what APEX score a sample gets, cause right now if i'm correct, it's only showing above a certain value.
You misunderstand, I haven't had a problem logging to my SecureAge portal account, and obtaining the download link. I think you should go back over my earlier posts, when I posted my comments about the APEX BETA, and you will see that!
I'm so sorry, Tarnak. I actually wanted to reply to Mops21 by adding more information to your reply. I understand that you don't have problem to download the beta version. I also would like to thank you that you have helped to give a direction on how to download the beta version.
@hendy All's well! One quick question. How come there isn't a forum on the APEX BETA, where we can see the comments of others, like what was previously the way things were done. Now, as is stands I have no way of knowing what kind of problems that may be germaine or not to my particular system.
I'm sorry for my late reply. You can use our existing https://secureaplusforum.secureage.com/, under "Beta Program", if you want to discuss something regarding to APEX Beta. You can open a new topic under "Bug Reports & Fixes" or "Suggestions". Some of beta testers prefer to submit bug report directly to us via portal. Eventually when we release a new beta version, we will publish the bugs fixed in the release notes.
@hendy Thanks. BTW, I just checked C:\ProgramData folder ...and, I noticed a folder, ScureAge Technology created back in January 2017. Looks like it is redundant, but I could be wrong. Is it OK to delete?
I'm sorry, I did not know that you have more than one folder. I'm still not sure how you get those redundant folders from For SecureAPlus, we only use the following folder: C:\ProgramData\SecureAge Technology\SecureAge
