Seagate disk Wizard backup software, included with their extrnal hds, is said to be based closely on Acronis TI

Anyone have any experience with Disk Wizard vs TI?

    Thanks in advance

PS.. guess I need a spell checker for the Title

There is a post by Mustang some time ago that explains the differences. The Diskwizard is a lite version of TI10 and will only install if you have a Seagate or Maxtor drive. Maxblast5 is the Maxtor version. See this thread https://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=175584&highlight=seagate post #7.

The DiscWizard will make image backups, but you can't schedule backups and you can't do file and folder backups.

I'm not sure you have to have a Seagate or Maxtor drive. It worked for me on a system with only one old Maxtor drive and no Seagate drives.
