SD auto-starts with IE

I am using Spyware doctor trial( older version). In the past, when I used to start SD, it was asking for some option like do u want to start SD with IE( don,t remember what was the wording exactly now). Once I accidently clicked it YES, and from now whenever I launch IE, SD also starts on its own that I don,t want. I don,t find any option in settings of SD to disable this behaviour. How I can do this? ( I don,t want to keep SD active all the time as this trial is only for on-deamnd scan, no real time protection).
