https://genode.org/download/sculpt I came across this OS, based on Genode OS framework. As far as I know it is the first general purpose OS based on a microkernel that is freely available to end users, which makes it really interesting imho. Theorically, an OS with microkernel would be a lot more secure than a tradional OS with monolithic kernel. I've been playing around with it for a little bit, there is a prebuilt VirtualBox appliance which makes that easier, but it is still an OS for quite advanced users, you are gonna need the guides on their site. I'm hoping the project will become more user-friendly as it is developed more, and keep a healthy development. EDIT: of course I meant more secure than traditional OS with monolithic kernel.
