I have the trial version of Windows 95 NOD32. It all seems to work very well but I have the problem that after running Scan on Demand no entries appear in the Scanner Log, and nor will any entries in the log selected for deletion disappear, until after rebooting. Entries in the Event and Virus logs all appear immediately as and when they occur. Is it normal to have to reboot for the Scanner Log entries to take effect?
Hello Hod, unfortunately, Windows 95 does not support the function utilized by NOD32 and which is required for proper functioning of the NOD32 scanner logs. As a result, the logs are refreshed not sooner than after the next computer restart.
Thank you. That explains it. I'm clinging by my finger tips to Windows 95 but I suppose I shall have to bite the bullet and upgrade. It really hurts tho!
