Scan not starting after a schedule

    XP SP3.

    I have Eset set to scan at 4pm every Weds.
    One option I chose during the set up is that "Task will be run as soon as possible" under "Action to take if task is not run at a specified time"

    Though if I turn the PC on, say at 5PM, Eset scan does NOT begin.

    Was there another option I missed?

    have you ever modified that scan in the scheduler? at one time it was broken so if you created a scan and then went back and edited it, it would not run. you would have to remove it and recreate it...

    Well, yes, now that you mention it, I did move the start time up an hour.
    So, just by an edit, the scheduler is all messed up ?

    Shansmi-
    Well I removed the old schedule and set up a new one - Eset is still not running after a boot up (after the designated time).

    I am stumped.
