We are running a trial version of NOD32 and have worked through most of the installation and configuration problems. However, there are a couple of items that have us stumped.
The machines run a scan at log-on. How do we control that? There's nothing in the schedule or configurations we can see that tell it to run a scan at logon or at virus update, which it also seems to do. The number of files is different each time, too (large difference, not just a few files). Does NOD32 do some sort of 'smart scan' that only looks at certain files that have been changed?

How can we set a scheduled scanning task to scan all files?

Does the UAC have to be turned off in order for Vista to go to the mirror to update without user intervention? If so, is there some kind of configuration or registry change that can be made instead so the UAC can do its security function for the rest of the programs?

    Thanks for any help.

Click 'optimise scanning' in set up and that will only scan new or changed files.
