   Hmmm ... considering gmail's already quickly acquired a bad rep for its so-called "privacy" (or lack of) policies and practices, I suspect this latest news will (hopefully) simply accelerate a well-deserved early demise for it.
   
   But unfortunately that's common sense -- and heaven knows we see too little of that commodity around the net any more.
