Since today I find this in the compatibility list under Browser Agent with corresponding program Explorer.EXE. I can't figure out what was responsible
for this entry. Google search results are nearly all pointing towards a trojan/
BHO or keylogger. Scans with Nod32, Bitdefender and a2 (free versions), and
AVG anti-spyware (paid ver.) all come up clean.
Have checked with Process Explorer and Autoruns - nothing. There is also
nothing in the registry or in the Windows sys32 folder.
    Any ideas please ?

Hi Ocky, I don't know what SCAgent is, except I can tell you it's not a Trojan, as my system is clean ;) :D

    Cheers :D

    Hi Ocky !

Have you opened MS Windows's file search utility or Help Support center ?
I can asnwer instead of you -> Yes . If memory serves me well , this file was related to one of these and since they connect to the internet , this is how it got registered in IMON. Don't worry about it ;) :thumb:

Thank you for your reassurance. I first thought it might be from an
encryption app. that I have, and was the result of creating a self
extracting archive with this app. while online.
Anyway, all's well and you are welcome to join me in having
    another beer !
PS. will switch from trial to full sometime next week.

Correct....SCagent is for Search > For Files or Folders and when it attempts to connect out it sends a User-Agent: SCAgent\r\n string

HelpSupportServices is for Help and Support

Than you ! I have opened Proxomitron Log Window while online with
Search open. This confirms it and has taught me to make use of the
Proxomitron Log Window more often. :D
