1.9.0 running well on both Edge and Vivaldi using Windows 10.

Blue and red boxes still don't work for me on either browser despite trying everything I can think of. All other colours run well.

Comment: On Win7, chrome-based browsers seem to be snappier in v1.9.0 from a cold start :)
Question: Is enabling "SandboxieLogon" recommended if I use no AV (except WinDefender)?

There was a conflict between the SSL protection of some 3rd party security software and "SandboxieLogon". Other than that, no one reported a problem with "SandboxieLogon". I also use it with WinDefender without any problems.

Good to know. I'll follow you and enable it on all my boxes!
Edit: Done (SandboxieLogon=y in global settings)

    On all sandboxes?
There's no other choice but to enable SandboxieLogon globally, is there? I mean, it's a global setting, all or nothing. Maybe I'm wrong.

I read "added SbieLogon option to the new box wizard" in the changelog.
Maybe the new-box option enables it globally for all boxes (I have not tried it)?

It works both ways, global or per sandbox. (SandboxieLogon)

I have orange sandbox running with SbieLogon. No issue with Security software.
As was said, it can always be checked to see if it is working under the Details tab of Windows Task Manager.

If I enable globally then disabling per sandbox won't work?
If I want it per sandbox do I need to disable it on global settings?
I've lost track of the plethora of changes in the last two years :argh:
    TIA

This is strange as for me they seam to work, I'll do some more testing, do you by any chance have some VM's to try in?

Well you can do booth, the setting per box works like this
check if there is a setting per box, if yes, display it in the check box, of no take the global value instead and display it.
When applying check if the current value matches the global value in this case delete the per box entry, else create en entry with the desired value.

So this way it can be switched globally and per box quite conveniently, the new build only adds an option to the wizard the already explained mechanism is in since many versions already.

@DavidXanatos has worked his magic again using a different sbieDll

Now both blue and red boxes work in Edge and Vivaldi.

    Great work David :thumb:

    SandMan's gui says
    Then two questions arise:
    1. Is this still experimental or not? I've seen this label since forever?
    2. Isn't better to say: Use a SandboxieLogon instead of a anonymous token?
    TIA

SbieLogon works well for me in all colour boxes.

    @soccerfan
Perhaps because you broke it for me by suggesting a red box, it led to it getting mended :D

    Hi @ Sandboxie Plus Section

Just started using Sandboxie Plus, occasionally I need to use a browser unsandboxed and when I open a link I would like it to be sandboxed (just in case). Outside of opening a new sandboxed browser and opening a link in it, is there any way to open a link sandboxed from an unsandboxed browser or from the right click menu?

    Thanks

    Terry

Since I also have problems with the red boxes,
I also downloaded the folder32 and the SbieDll.dll from the Zip1.91 and exchanged them in the directory C:\Programs\Sandboxie-plus. Now I always get the error when starting the SB.

I then tried to install SB1.90 over it again. Unfortunately that didn't help. What do I have to do to make SB1.90 work again?

@terry, Not quite the answer to your question but I think it achieves the same thing...
    (1) I have set my default browser (firefox) to always open in sandbox mode - you can do this by Sandbox Options > App Templates > Templates tab > type your browser name in the text filter box > Select all boxes (or just some as you want). This will force all links to be opened in a sandboxed browser.
    (2) Set up a shortcut that opens the browser in non-sandboxed mode for the times when you need to update the browser (best done outside the sandbox) and when you want to access the web outside the sandbox. The shortcut is: "C:\Program Files\Sandboxie-Plus\Start.exe" /dfp "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe". The /dfp tells sandboxie to run the program outside the sandbox.

I didn't replace the folder 32, I just ignored that. In Plus Program files I just renamed SbieDll to SbieDll .old and then dragged the new SbieDll from my desktop (where I had unzipped it) to the Plus program files.
