It is certainly possible. Last night firefox not sandboxed was posting fine. Today I tried it un sandboxed and comments failed to publish. It does or could be a Yahoo issue.

Edge running sandboxed just works, no issues within Yahoo, etc. So it could be an issue with both yahoo and firefox, I have no idea.

    Thank you for your thoughts!

I can't imagine how an sandbox issue could be so specific as to affect one website in a hand fol browsers,
perhaps its really some info saved to the sandbox which is not present outside in which case clearing the sandbox should remedy the problem.

Agreed David. I always delete contents when I close browsers. I only use Firefox and Edge. I think it is an odd issue the way Firefox interacts with Yahoo commenting.

Firefox never successfully publishes comments when sandboxed. Sometimes works when not sand boxed. Edge works fine when sandboxed. It appears something with Firefox.

I did find someone mention their Firefox was failing when commenting on Yahoo, and that it has happened before. A few others have mentioned it and possibly an issue
going back quite a few versions. They are always advised to clear out the usual, cookies, and cache, but that doesn't always work for them.

I'd think if it was a Sandboxie issue, Edge would likely be affected also. Perhaps it has something to do with Yahoo itself. I really do not know, other than Yahoo comments fail to publish
when using a sandboxed Firefox browser, yet Firefox sometimes fails when it is not sandboxed which tells me it is something between Firefox and Yahoo likely.

Thank you for your thoughts David and for an excellent software. I appreciate all your efforts!

    Hi David

Not sure if you are asking me that question about the menu...

I don't use Plus version, I use Classic as mentioned. Also, I have learned the posting comments within Yahoo happens whether browser is sandboxed or not.

It appears a Firefox issue. Not sure why. Only addon I use in Firefox is Ublock Origin. That isn't the issue. Edge operates as expected, no issues in Yahoo sandboxed or not.

@DavidXanatos A while back (6 months maybe?) you posted on Wilders to look forward to the likely introduction of a YouTube tutorial for Sandboxie. There's a couple of new videos out lately that seem worthy of noting. Do any of these new vids relate to what you were referencing or is the YouTube Sandboxie tutorial you suggested still a work in progress?? Thanks in advance.

I can confirm this issue. I just tried to install version 1.12.9 and had the same problem.

My remedy was a little bit different: I went to the place on my computer where the exe for updating is "hidden" (indeed quite deep :D) and I started it from there. The path is:
    C:\Users\...[username]\AppData\Local\Temp\sandboxie-updater

With this method the installation worked fine. But I remember that the update procedure was more simple in the past. ;) Perhaps it would already help if the exe for updating were not stored so deeply in the system but simply on the desktop. (?)

@DavidXanatos It seems that the update process does not work properly if there is a valid SandMan.exe.sig file. If I change the name of the SandMan.exe.sig file and try it, it updates normally.

Not restricted to Edge, but add AllowSpoolerPrintToFile=y to your box .ini and see if it works.

I tried printing pdf document opened in my Edge sbox with no joy.
I had to open pdf outside sbox for Print to work.

@bjm_ Can you try printing with Ctrl+Shift+P (system dialog)?
