Sandboxie-Plus 1.15.6

Thanks guys. It didn't occur to me to look at notifications.

But something is up as Quick/Immediate recovery is no longer working for me. I'll go bacvk a few versions and see if the problems goes away.

BTW I'm trying to switch from Firefox to Brave but when sandboxed some settings are lost, in particular search engines where only the default is showing. It only works correctly in an Application Compartment sandbox, so I assume I have to change some settings for Brave, but which? I searched here, but it's pretty clear that I'm not good at searching on this forum.

 

I've reverted to 1.15.4 and File Recovery is now working as expected/previously. 1.15.5/6 breaks it.

Brave still not behaving as I want.

If you upgraded to 1.15.5 before 1.15.6, you are most likely using a new Sandboxie-Plus.ini configuration file created from scratch instead of your old configuration, so you will need to either re-configure the interface settings you made before or copy the old file to the new location while the Sandboxie Plus interface is closed.

Copy the XXX.ini file to its new location and try it.

It would be better to open a separate thread explaining this issue in detail, as it's difficult to follow the problem when it's discussed across different threads.

 

Thanks Busy. I'll look at the SB+ ini, although I don't think it is the issue. Strangely, my laptop works as expected with 1.15.6 and the setup, at least for SB is identical <fx:sigh>

I'll open a new thread for Brave.

 

Ok, so it was a sb+ ini issue! But not as expected as I found more than one version, so I deleted all and went through the process of selecting all options etc (well, those I understood) and my immediate recovery is now working as previously.
