    hmm... i tried installing offline qt code generator and ublock origin to the sandboxed firefox and it worked just fine,
    i cant reproduce the issue unfortnetely.
    Habe you tries a new clean sandbox with default config?

    when you say "security hardened sandbox" do you mean an orange box (i tested orange and yellow) or a red box which is "security hardened sandbox with data protection"?

    Also could you please elaborate how force programs fails for you how to test it for mee it seams fien but there are many edge cases i ma ynot hav testet yet.

    I have set
    Template=Firefox_Force
    ClosedFilePath=C:\Users\*\Desktop\Test

    and put a *.url file to test and it workes just fine as windows reads the file and apsses the url as argument to firefox so the closed file path does not mater.

    did you mean a saved website i.e. a *.htm/*.html file and not a link to a website?

    Thanks, Softpedia has the same file. But I also tried it with the ZIP file, but even when I run Thorium directly it refuses to run. So the old SBIE PLus version is somehow blocking it. BTW, I have another question, if you install Vivaldi as a portable version, so NOT in Program Files, then how will SBIE be able to give direct access to the profile folder?

    Sorry David, I've been away. I have no more info I can give you. and TBH I'm no longer even sure I could do it previously. With sincerest apologies, please don't spend any (more?) time on this.
