The issue started with 5.56.1. As I understand it, the issue affects both, Classic and Plus. I suggest you stay at 5.56 or the equivalent in Plus until the issue gets fixed. FWIW, I am using 5.55.21 and haven't experienced this issue.

Thanks for your reply. I followed your suggestion and installed the equivalent of v5.56 in Sanboxie-Plus (v1.1.0). I can now run Brave sandboxed without any issue!
Also, thanks a lot for the link to win10.guru website. This really looks like a good way to start!

p.s.: Only later did I read David's post (#51). I will try his solution the next time I update Sandboxie-Plus.

Yes it can be a bit bewildering at first when you are used to Classic and switch to Plus Plus is my preferred build now.

The install options offer you the choice to use the 'Sandboxed web browser' icon that you are used to in classic on your desktop
When you double click on it you will see the flames on the sbie icon in your taskbar. Right click options on your default box for instance will show up as in my screenshot.

When you open the Plus interface there are lots of options there too.
For instance right-click on your default box in the Plus window and see what is available.

If you look at the very top of the Plus window you will see Sandbox.. View.. Options and help. Have a look at them. Most of us run under Advanced View under where is says View. (it gives more things to see)

Then under those options there are some icons. If you hover over then with cursor you will see what they are. I find Global Settings and edit.ini file quite helpful.
Hope these few bits of starter info will help you make your first steps around the Plus build.
