Are you sure you have click to run. If you do it will be tough

The Click to run version doesn't work with Sandboxie but the regular one, according to Invincea, is supposed to work fine under Sandboxie. I cant test that version. In my old XP, I have Office 2003, that version of Office works well along SBIE.

If you installed version 4.18, Excel wont work as a forced program with that version. That problem got fixed in one of the 4.19 betas. To test Office with SBIE, I think is best to install the latest beta (4.19.3).

I'm not quite sure about the click to run thing. I have installed Office Professional Plus 2013 and I can run all the programs separately. You'll get a small splash screen for a one second before the program actually starts. I have attached a picture of how that looks like. Not sure if my version is the compatible one with Sandboxie though...

@ bjm_ It is Firefox, or plugin-container.exe, see post #1495 ... I am just living with restarting Firefox for now. Sometimes Firefox is also crashing on launch non-sandboxed so it may not be SBIE related i.e. just an add-on. But a relaunch is normally OK ... will keep looking to see what is causing this.

You could test running Firefox using a new profile to see if the crashes go away (sandboxed and unsandboxed). You could also run Firefox in a new sandbox. If Firefox doesn't crash with the new sandbox, it means the old sandbox is corrupted or a setting is messing things up.

If everything else is working good as expected, then I'd consider it a glitch only.
Out of curiosity you can try upgrading SBIE and see. Remember to grab the installer of your current installed version in case anything goes wrong.

J L, according to Craig of Invincea, Sandboxie 4.20 is working with the current version of W10.
