Those fixes are for tablets only? I wouldn't like install next beta if it's not important for desktops. Final will be released next week anyway.

This beta solves issues for tablets. This problems have been bugging Sandboxie users since W8.1 was released. For example:

At the moment I dont feel like venturing into updates: I must reassert that Sandboxie vs.4.07.05 which I went back to from 4.09 x which was giving me all kind of trouble, and is incidentally the last
version when Tzu was still in charge at Invincea, is absolutely flawless and perfect with me and, after a month usage,I can recommend it to those who have a similar configuration, that is,Windows7-64,Sandboxie+ShadowDefender+(ComodoAV).

I would like to stay with SBIE but with latest version of Chrome and SBIE keep getting anooying SBIE messages about enabling Administrative Rights which I don't want to do, I want to keep Drop Rights setting on Chrome but these are annoying and id not happen a while back. Could be a Chrome thing but wish this type of ocnflict were not present because love the extra security layer of SBIE.

I am not getting such popups. I did need to install the beta version of SBIE because of the avast AV update. Try the latest beta if you have not done that. Perhaps you have some Chrome extension that is causing those popups. As I am running under W7 standard account, I have not checked that Drop Rights box.

Not getting it either on latest SBIE beta.

I'm not sure I've ever seen Chrome ask for admin privileges but I suppose if you have it installed in Programme Files maybe it or an extension need admin to update or need to access a folder restricted to admin to update logs etc?

Are you forcing Chrome to launch sandboxed or using default browser shortcut/send to? What extensions are you using?

    Thanks

Thanks guys. I am running 4.09.01 in SBIE and tried latest beta of it before and had same trouble. I have extensions WOT, AddBlock Plus and AddBlock, don't know why I have two Addblock extensions. And, Looks like it is install in Program Files (x86) folder. Thanks for your help.

4.09.05, working great in my XP and W7.

A change that I noticed is that now, after installation, in the W7, I was asked to reboot. In Xp, like in the past, no prompt from SBIE to reboot.
