Because it's 64bit and also it works flawlessly with sandboxie along with NoScript and Adblock Edge.:thumb:

It was a 1-man show. This day was bound to happen. At the very least, the torch has been passed. The race continues..

Office may not work and Adobe Reader/Flash has its own sandboxing.

Is Invincea handling business in the Sandboxie forum in much the same way as tzuk did?
I posted over there with an issue and got a response before too long, saying they were looking into the problem.
    At least they replied.
Now to see if they fix the issue. :)

Hi Mantra, yes, he is referring to version 4.08. And I agree with buckslayr, version 4.08 is running great here too, in XP and W7. Like nothing in life is not perfect but I am able to run comfortably every program that I run sandboxed and use every sandbox that I use in both systems. For me, version 4.08 is the best SBIE version to date.

I don't think one can get to evaluate Invincea without the status of a company, and even if you wanted to buy a license you'd need to buy 10 as a minimum amount, that is $499,90!

Just purchased a additional one year license and found that the new license key is only valid on version 4.08 3.48 and later. I'm using this version with no problems but it seemed to be a new requirement since Invincea purchased Sandboxie as I recall that Tzuk's licensing supported all versions. This is just a FYI, no tinfoil suspicions intended.

Edit: correction, version 3.48 or later. not 4.08 or later

Whato_O You can't use older versions with the one year license? Where does it say that?

oh crud. it's in the license email and should be 3.48 or later not 4.08 or later. Have no excuse for misreading that tthe first time through, just stupid I guess.

My impression is that Invincea is handling things pretty well so far.

I agree that they appear to be handling the transition well thus far.
Updating the forum software was a nice change yesterday as well.

Invincea's frequency of updates will probably never compare to tzuk's... but then, few would.
I agree that forum attentiveness and upkeep (or lack thereof) is a yardstick by which a program's vitalness can be measured.
    Thinking GeSWall here.

I see that there is now a Sandboxie 4.09 Beta Thread (which is currently empty) in the Sandboxie Forum. I guess that this means that Sandboxie 4.09 Beta will be released soon?

Very likely. It will be interesting to see what fixes are planned and their impact on SBIE. As per some of the forum postings, it seems newer versions will improve compatibility with 3rd party programs being installed in SBIE that some people had with all 4.x releases. I don't have particular links, but:
