Hi! Since updating Sandboxie to 5.33.3, all hotmail/live/outlook.com accounts configured in Outlook 2010 are not working any longer (on the bottom right status corner is just written "Disconnected"). In Sandboxie 5.31.6 everything is working fine. In contrast to that, in Sandboxie 5.31.6 there was the live.com login issue when using the web version (at least in Firefox), which is now fixed in 5.33.3 - so I assume this fix has something to do with the Outlook 2010 problem? Has anyone similar issues or are there any known workarounds? Thank you very much!
Hi thomas90. Perhaps updating Sandboxie to 5.33.6 fixes your issue. Also, if you dont set contents of the sandbox to be deleted automatically, you should delete it manually now, and try Outlook. You can also test using a new sandbox with default settings, don't copy old settings.I dont use Outlook so I cant confirm the problem but you can try some of what I mentioned, many times this simple solutions fix what appears on the surface to be big problems. Hi Bo! Thanks for your really fast answer, I really appreciate your help. Unfortunatley, the 5.33.6 doesn't fix the Outlook 2010 problem. I've also created a completely new Sandbox (and just added the template for "Office Outlook" in the Sandboxie settings), but the problem persists. I've also tested the 5.33.1, 5.33.2 Sandboxie versions, but it seems that 5.31.6 is the last version where Outlook 2010 is running properly. So some changes between 5.31.6 and 5.33.1 must have broken something. Any further help is highly appreciated Thanks again Bo! I still have Sandboxie version 5.33.6 (64bit), Windows 10 (v 2004) and I couldn't use Office 2016 (not sandboxed). If I tried to run Word or Excel I received error SBIE2303 (Could not hook OpenProcessToken or something similar, can't remember) and program didn't start, just small nice Office popup windows explaining it crashed and error code. Solution: Configuration->Software Compatibility->remove "+" from Office part. Word/Excel is working again https://i.postimg.cc/85fc7gzw/Untitled.png P.S. When writing this I wanted to put exact errors, but I couldn't. If I put + signs back, Office is still working. Maybe restart would be needed. But anyway just writing this solution here, if someone will have problem running Office!
