Is anybody using or have used this.?
Can it be recommended.
Webroot blocks the site due to containing malicious content.
I shall pass on this then.
Strange.... as my K9 filter allows the site.
So who is right?
Puzzles, dont you just love them lol.
It appears to be anonymizer. You can shield yourself on the Internet while surfing. If you need something like SafeIP, that might serve your needs.
Actually im looking more for a form of web blocker/shield sort of program.
I notice your using K9.
How does that run for you norman.?
Is it a browser extension or a running process.
VirusTotal, HitmanPro, and Webroot give the actual free download a clean bill of health. I could not tell what the reason for Webroot blocking the website is though...
K9 is a running process - I run it to block spyware, malware and dangerous websites by default. Of course if I blocked everything, I'd have no Internet access! You can brick up your kids' computer to keep them from getting on the Internet unsupervised. Its a very effective parental filter tool.
It does seem too good to be true, But ya never know !

I tried the WebProxy & it is SSL & it worked fine. Plus i couldn't find Any bad reports about them over several dozen searches, so "maybe" it's legit ?
hmm.."maybe its legit" is not quite convincing enough for me.
I think i will pass on this one.
Thanks for posting.
Yeah who knows ?
Close, but that's another member = Mod
Thanks for interesting info's (from both).
I will try SafeIP for some days to see how it works and does to "Protect your online identity by hiding your IP from websites, email, games, and more". It is new to me try such thing [some advices?].
Just in case, I'll do a snapshot with 'Toolwiz Time Machine' before (to restore if I dislike it or their action)...
Any feedback on this?
Whether its any good I don't know. But it's on MajorGeeks so that makes it AOK as far as being nonmalicious ime.
what is the difference (just for browsing the net through browser) from a VPN then?
If a Security Expert can confirm, i found this report look at the end of it
thanks for the clarification.
