I have Roxio EZ Creator 6 and want to backup my Quicken files. It will work fine if I install a new CD. It won't if there is files on the CD. I want to be able to each month add the files to the CD till it is full. What am I doing wrong? Please help.

Look in the help file for closing a disk. After you add data to a disk, it should ask you if you want to close the disk. If you close the disk, you won't be able to write to it again.

You should format the CD as a DirectCD disc. That way it works like a floppy so you can write to it any time. Roxio EZ Creator 5 called it DirectCD, Roxio 7 calls it Drag to Disc. No matter what they call it, it is a UDF formatted disc to allow rewriting to it.

Thanks for the help. I think I have it figured out now. I wasn't putting the CD in at the right time. I was waiting till I chose the files and it asked for a new disk.
