Just got a Linksys e3200 and wanted to know if I should "keep connection alive" or "connect on demand"?

My old non-wireless D-Link was set (default I think) to connect on demand (I don't recall seeing a max idle setting), but I found some info that stated I should set the Linksys to keep connection alive and redial 180, so I set it as suggested.
I have SBC Yahoo DSL with a Siemens Speedstream 4100.

Side note: the Linksys seems faster than the old DLink.
