Rouge Antivirus not detected by ESET

    Hi,

    I've send the sample of the rouge av to the labs several times, but I still receive no reply......why is the Rouge AV not being detected by NOD32?

    Take a look at the GUI of the Rouge AV.

    this looks like it's free, there's no "Buy" link. do you know the trojan that actually wants you do download this?

    actually the description of that file is "Anti-virus for ashan's virus", so it could be a thing made by a person for that specific malware piece.

    This is the nasty malware itself.......and will probably be detected by SAS soon.
