I noticed today that RollbackRX will be going on sale at BitsduJour soon. I love RBRX, so I have no problem recommeding the application for normal users. My question, though, is will RBRX function as intended on disks that implement whole-disk encryption? My dad has a laptop system that he uses for work, with an SSD, on which he is forced to use whole-disk encryption software from Mcafee. Should I get him a copy when it goes on sale?

I know there is a thread on this subject already, but it is over three years old. So I thought there might be newer information, per this suggestion.

Greetings! I offer no specific information but will state that there has been many discussions on the HDS forum concerning whole disk encryption (the general anser is NO but best to ask Horizon for sure on a specific product) and recently, with HDS' recent announcement about SSD support (current release) there have been issues with that claim also (not yet verified).

I would go slowly, without specific answers, on puttinf RBRX on any machine with an SSD and whole disk encryption.
