I don't get it. Wasn't it released long back? Or they've just officially launched it now, even though it was available before? Or did i mixed it up with 2010 version? Hm...

Will this crap (IMHPO'DO) update? They need to fix this update issue, or forget it.

Sounds the version number 23.00 is the new one.
RISING has stopped the update service of 22.00 version, seems like the 2010 free antivirus.
So... people need download and install the new 23.00 after install the 22.00 ver. it looks like a little messy...

anyway, the new 23.00 is online:

I had to uninstall the old version and install the new one. It seemed inconvenient, but the Rising Antivirus with new version looks better than before.

Yes, I just realized a few days ago that Rising 2010 was no longer updating signatures, without any single warning. I don't understand why they didn't warn their users. As a result, I switched to Avast Free V5, and guess what, my PC is now a bit faster for some operations.

Hmm, it's not obvious to see whether it's a rumor or a fact. And it's usually not a wise thing to make definitive judgments with so fuzzy and partial information.

Maybe time will tell... In the mean time, I'll keep Avast, because my system is slightly faster.
