    Consumer "Right to Repair" laws need, and are starting to [finally] gain interest on a global bases. IMO, manufacturers have traditionally been fighting legislation to keep profits high and in their pocket and out of consumers and small repair shops. Hitting the issue from another front, the environment impact side, is a great idea.

    I hope this moves forward and quickly.
