RICHTX32.OCX

    Hi all,
    I have a real newbie question. I just tried to download SpywareGuard and got an error message that said "The souce file is corrupted" . The file in question was C:WINDOWS\System32\RICHTX32.OCX . Did I do something dumb or do I have a problem that I didn't know about o_O
    Any help/suggestions would be appreciated.

    Hi Betty,

    Welcome at Wilders. :)

    Did you check if that file is present on your system?
    If not, I will need to know your Windows version.

    If it is present, please do this:
    Start > Run > type or copy regsvr32 richtx32.ocx in the textbox and click OK.
    Then try installing SpywareGuard again.

    Thank you very much for your help Pieter, not only was it quick but right on too :)
    I didn't find the file you mentioned but decided to try the Start> Run> info anyway and it worked perfect. I now have it updated and running.
