Restoring MBR --Drive snapshot

    Does restoring the mbr from an image file deletes all data on all partitions of hard drive ,it is so risky as said int he warning .Have anyone tried this feature ?
    All the data on hard drive will be deleted ,is it so?

    At least in Shadowprotect, when I use the option to restore the MBR, nothing is deleted because of MBR. Hard drive/patition just reverts back to the state when the image was taken. I am sure all imaging software behaves the same.

    I have used this shadow protect option before and works great ,but i get the warning in case of DS , have anyone used tis feature?
