I currently have two disks (sata 74GB) set as mirrored running win2003 server. They seem to be having issues so I am trying to replace with two new Western digital Raptor (74 gig). Running latest build of Acronis Server9.1. I am successful in making the image to a external usb drive. When I try to restore it after booting from the restore cd all seems to go well but when the new drives boot it just goes to a blinking cursor. Please help

    Hello rionaz1,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Server Disk Backup Software.

Please accept our apologies for the delay with the response.

Could you please describe the issue in more details? Did you use Acronis Universal Restore option during the resoration? Did you created the image of the entire hard drive or system partition only?

Please also note that when you create a dynamic volume image, its type information (simple, mirror, and the like) is lost, so the restoration is performed independently. In each case, the program stores and restores volume contents only. You will need to set up the dynamic discs again after restoration.

    Thank you.
