Restoring Backups with a Different Program

I was wondering with all the flavors of Paragon drive backups, will a version 9 pro read the images from a version 9 personal or free or advanced restore disk and/or any conceivable mixture of version 9's for restoration?

What about 32 bit and 64 bit programs? Can they read the other's images for restoration on NTFS drives?

Hello SourMilk,

All Paragon backup archives and programs are compatible across the board. Whether you backed up from Drive Backup Express, Personal, Professional, Server or Enterprise, you can restore with any edition as well. In addition, the latest versions can utilize older archives created by older versions. For instance, version 9 can restore from version 8 images.

Partition Manager and Hard Disk Manager are both capable of making backups and they also are compatible with Drive Backup. All 3 line of softwares support 64 bit machines.

But bare in mind although our software can backup from a 64bit machine and restore it to a 32bit machine, it does not mean your programs will run properly due to the nature of the program in its new environment.

 

Thanks Paragon_Tommy. It's good to know that developers within Paragon stress compatibility between different programs of the same version. Another reason to consider Paragon for disk utilities .
