    Hello,

    I am planning to burn my C and D partitions on a DVD using acronis.
    Now, I need that the burned DVD to "load itself and restore the image" once I insert it.

    I guess there should be something to do to make it bootable and having an acronis script/exe programo_O burned on the DVD so that It can load alone and restore the image in case no operating system has been found or damaged;

    Pls advise?

    Thank you

    Hello jiugiusto,

    Welcome to the Acronis True Image Support Forum.

    I'm not aware of a self booting, self restoring True Image solution. The nearest you're likely to get at the moment is contained in this thread titled<How to create bootable rescue DVD(s)>. Read all the posts and then choose to use either wdormann's original procedure or my updated version. They both work equally well.

    Regards
