    Hi,

I am using Server 7.0 Build 638 on a SBS 2003 Premium box.

The primary reason for its use is in a DR situation, I am expecting to be able to restore the server's RAID 5 disk image to another machine with the same hardware and RAID config, via a USB external hard drive.

The image is created Ok and the image is verified Ok, but I read in the manual about using sysprep in cloning a new machine from an image.

Am I missing a piece here, in thinking a direct restore from the saved image should work? Anything to do with the activation file, wpa.dbl in the system32 directory?

I have not tested it out yet, by deleting the RAID config on the test machine and restoring from the image, I was hopeful for some feedback before I did that.

Any thoughts very welcome, thanks in advance.
