removing live update from Norton

    I just noticed that it's stuck in my system- the laptop I tried it on & it's not
    in add/remove...any help appreciated...

    you can install live update again, then you have option to remove it, but you know, if you have any symantec program rely on this, you can not remove it.

    You might can try the Removal Tool, this is what it was designed for:

    SymNRT at FileForum

    If that doesn't work you can try Cleanse Uninstaller. It removed a stubborn Trend Micro add-on when all else failed for me:

    thanks Midway, did the trick, just didn't run as well on my laptop as the desktop thanks again...
