Could I ask please why, if a Post is Removed and locked because of say, a TOS infringement, is it just left there, why not remove it totally?..

Leaving it there doesn't seem to serve any purpose other than to keep reminding me that I wasn't fast enough to see what it was before it was removed...:D :D :D

    Regards, Cochise,

    Hi Cochise / Nat :)
The reason that the "Post removed" stays is so that the member who posted it knows the reason for it's removal so therefor is unlikely to do it again

    Regards

Totally off-topic, but "inspired" by Nat's postings ... LWM, can you come up with a different title for her (and others') postings-ranking? Maybe it's just me, but "Incredibly Massive Poster" conjures up physical images that just ain't so, rather than number of posts.

Good points on all counts. Maybe the staff should come up with some kind of e-mail/PM notification system that would notify the 10-F Regulars (at least) of the contents of any removed posts, just so we don't have to wonder what was so bad about the removed post. It sure would save a lot of PM space to, since we wouldn't have to PM each other asking "What do you think that post said?"

And for the "Incredibly Massive Poster" title, I also share that title and will proudly admit I am a little fat. However, maybe it could be changed to "Incredibly Creative Poster". No that won't work. That might make BeetleBoss mad since she is the most creative one here IMHO, and since the change would be my idea, well I don't think I want a frying pan up the side of my head. But then again it wouldn't matter since I have heard that "It's all my fault!" (Steves fault) anyway from more than one person.

Well maybe we could---ahhh---ummm---never mind.

Ages ago I had one removed (from here in 10F) by Paul hisself, who ruled that blonde jokes were contrary to the TOS.

He thought it was too political. :D
