Removed: Where to download Windows 7 ?

LowWaterMark: Some suggestions in the original thread were to get the Windows download from websites other than Microsoft operated sites. While some of these may be legitimate, we really have no way to know for sure. Legal terms of use are very complex for licensed software. And frankly, downloading something as large as a full Windows distribution from a website that you did not purchase it from, is likely to over tax that site's server and bandwidth resources without providing them any compensation.

The long and the short of it is that we since can't ensure the validity of the recommendations, we could not leave them posted here.
