Remote Assistance Won't Work

    Not sure where exactly to post this. Anyway, on Thursday and Friday, I told my stepbrother to send me an invitation for Remote Assistance so I could try and improve his computer. It worked fine on Thursday. The next day he restarted his laptop and the connection re-restablished. Today though I tried to help again and it said I couldn't connect. He created a new invitation file and it still wouldn't work. Remote Assistance is allowed through my firewall, his was off, we both have Internet connections. I just can't think of why it's suddenly not working. Any ideas?

    I have Win 7 Pro, he has XP Home.

    I haven't used Remote Assistance much but if you want to try a different product check out TeamViewer, I find it very easy to use (especially so with non-tech-savvy friends/family).
