My old Lumia 920 was my favorite phone. The 1520 lacked build quality. I would still take it over an iOS or Android device if it was an option.

So you're basically saying that Windows Mobile was better than Android and iOS? Was it about the tiles?

I preferred it, at least at the time. It was probably more about the menus. It was quick and easy to find things on it. Cortana actually wasn't bad at the time. It would read text messages to me in the car and let me reply by voice. I haven't had an Android phone that will let me do that. It was also largely the hardware. Nokia phones were great the the time. The display was good, the camera was good, and they were nearly indestructible. They were also lighter than these almost all glass Samsung phones and didn't need a case.

OK, I see. I never actually owned a Windows Mobile phone, but I believe the Live Tiles made sense on a mobile device. I have also always liked Nokia phones.

I agree, WP had and still has superior workflow - ahead of any other mobile os.
