I think these two are the most critical. Now I'll have to restore my C drive image.

Uninstallers are a real pain when they don't work. I agree about the priority.

@DavidXanatos was in my computer remotely a few minutes ago. He said he has an idea what's causing such issues...

As a test after reading about the Plus uninstall problem I decided to look for myself.
    Plus uninstalled cleanly without freezing.
Could it be because I deleted the old driver from 5.45 before installing Plus?

The issue is that under some circumstances kmdutil.exe wants to open a window and due to a small oversight when creating the installer, that window doe snot appeare so it waits forever killing kmdutil when its frozen would also be a sort of workaround
just ensure that all sandboxed appls are closed by than. and may be kill OfficeClickToRun.exe if you have it.

    I don't have ClickToRun.
I will install new build now.
Have you had a chance to look at the Recovering Files issue in Plus yet?

I have installed and uninstalled the 'new' Plus with fixed uninstaller 2 times now, it works fine.

One issue is that is does not uninstall sandboxie.ini in C\Windows. It also does not offer you the option to uninstall or keep the ini file.

Resizing gui just before it gets snapped, changing gui position, sorting items and hiding columns worked for the current Windows session. All changes were gone after a machine reboot.

Want to check it out via TV?

If it would be hard to code for David then it's not worth it, I agree. But it should be quickly to configure via the Sandboxie GUI or the tray-icon, just one or two clicks, so for the end-user it shouldn't be a hassle. And BTW, I have never really liked to sandbox Windows Explorer, it's not my thing.

Yes correct, all apps should be sandboxed. It's actually a very simple idea, I believe you are overthinking things, it's not complicated.

I have checked out Sandboxie Plus, and the GUI looks interesting but I noticed it's missing most of the options from Sandboxie Classic? Also, seems like it doesn't remember screen size and position. So for now I'm back to Sandboxie Classic.

It should not be missing anything!
Saving position if you don't exit properly but just shutdown windows will be fixed in next build.

    What are Apps for you?
What appears as an app can be a single process, a couple of processes or a set of processes and intertwined services.
If you sandbox the desktop component for example autoCAD inventor but have the licensing service running outside, without creating the appropriate rules it wont start.

You can't put many shell components into the sandbox eider as they need system access in the end what you need is something like
    ForcedFolder=C:
with a list of exclusions what not to force into the sandbox as else you wont be able to login into your account.

What happens is that I maximize the SBIE Plus GUI and then close it to the tray, when I click on the tray icon I have to resize the GUI again. About my idea, it wouldn't work any different than "Forced Folders", so when you click on some app or installer, all child processes will be under control of Sandboxie. About the missing features, where are the "Sandbox Settings" like Resource Access, Program Start and Restrictions?

You right click on your sandbox, and select sandbox options. Every option is listed on the left.

Also Rasheed when you want to make another box for testing etc just open the GUI and right-click in a blank space to see the 'new box' option.

Well, one could say read back your post, you could have simply said, make a setting, which will start all user invoked programs in sandbox. :thumb:

Good point, I guess all after system start, running in under the users account.
