Tag appended to sent email although 'Append tag messages to sent email:' set to 'Never'.
I'm not getting that error. Which email program are you using?
I just gave it a try with Thunderbird 188.8.131.52 and no tags were added. ? I'm using the ESS v4 RC so my tests may not apply to the AV alone.
Just to make sure we're talking about the same thing, I look in my 'Sent' folder and see the following appended to the bottom of my sent email message:
Information from ESET NOD32 Antivirus, version of virus signature database 3865 (2009021 __________
The message was checked by ESET NOD32 Antivirus.
Correct. No tag. I'm using the ESS v4 RC so my tests may not apply to the AV alone.
Ron, thanks for your help.
I sent an email to support with a Sysinspector log and
a link to this thread.
I believe I would send this error to betasupport @ eset.eu as well.
Yes. That's where I sent it.
If I don't integrate NOD32 into Thunderbird, the email tags work correctly.
You see that tag because you
Antivirus and Antispam Protection > Email Client Protection > Email Clients > Email To Scan> Read Email
Turn off it and you tag disappears.
I still want tags on incoming email, just not sent email.
I still have not received an answer to this. I have
Antivirus and Antispam Protection > Email Client Protection > Email Clients > Email To Scan> Sent Email is blank yet a tag is added to outgoing email.
Separate names with a comma.
