Regdefend Problem....

I don't know if its only with AD\RD or also in the standard RD , but when I try to block a reg entry when prompted, it crashes and noticed this only with certain keys that I want to block not all the time. Anyone seen this before? Any workaround to blocking keys without crashing AD\RD?

It is possible that what you are attempting to do falls foul of one of these windows 'quirks'; so what Keys are involved?

 

Lets say I want to stop an automatic startup entry when it popups up, if I put block it kills AD.

I don't run AD so I can't comment on that; but RD certainly should not crash if you are just denying a change to the
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Currentversion\Run
Key, for example, if that is what is happening.

 

Well I want to run RD standard and not the version that comes with Appdefend, but my registration info for RD only works in Appdefend's RD and I already contacted Jason, but he never returned my email and not even replied to my pm here on wilders. I mean it should work for both, but I don't know what is happening.
