RegDefend Logs ... Or Not

    I'm confused, as so often happens. I kept reading about people in the forum deleting their RegDefend logs, but then I realized ... I have none. There are no log files in my GSS install directory. Why is this? I do have some entries marked with the Log to Disk option selected, and they get logged, but only to screen, not to disk.

    I also have no screen similar to the one shown here:

    Is it because I have AppDefend, in addition to RegDefend? Or is it the versions I'm using? I have:

    AppDefend 1.000
    RegDefend 2.050
    GSS Beta 1.110

    I believe what you are seeing is the behavior of the GSS beta's logging. Since this beta added AD and has changed the way parts of RD are handled. IIRC somewhere in either the AD or RD board Jason made a comment about the logging being a work in progress and that changes will be made in future betas.
