True Image User (Sufferer) for many years. I bought 3 copies of True Image 11 on 10/15/08 (paid regular price--stupid me, not any of the $9.95 "deals/scams" that have been mentioned on the forum). When I went to register them I see that version 2009 has just come out. I expected to receive a free upgrade email--no just the regular $29.95 upgrade offer on the Registered Products page (never even got an email announcing the new version). Well I looked at the Forum and say some folks who used online chat to get their free upgrades. "Chatted" with Alex and was told that I could not have any free upgardes since I did not have a receipt from Acronis. Sure would be helpful if someone from Acronis would use a little logic and make it so that when a person registers a past version after a new version is released that that person can get the new version.
