Need a good red wine recommendation for a very special occasion. Make it a something we'll remember for years to come. Needs to be less than US$100.

This is a very good red wine. I can personally attest to it's rich taste

    $69.00 US
    750 mlt.
    winemaker's notes:

Deep purple in color with a bouquet full of dried fruit. Rich and full bodied, intense and elegant. Velvety smooth. Amarone is an extremely important wine in Italian viticulture as it is unique to the Valpolicella region. Recommended with hearty dishes. Excellent with roasted red meats.

Thank-you BigC for the recommendation. I trust your guidance and think I'll try this one. I'll let you know what my lady thinks after tonight! It's going to be good!

I can't think of better group of people to ask than computer wizards with a glass of wine at hand trying to figure out how to download the latest OS patch. I bet Bill and Co. are drinking their share too!

    Talk, talk, talk!

When is somebody going to pour? Wifey is partial to the Rosemont Merlot.

    Play on, big ed

You also have some of the best whites in the world..but let's not tell too many people. :D Export only the blends commercially..and I can still enjoy some of the best direct shipped. ;)
