Recovering An Unbootable OS

    That should work. Just make sure that after restoring the image to the new drive, that you shut down and disconnect every drive except the new one before booting from it for the first time. Windows does not like to see more than one disk with the same disk ID.

    You should also check the boot.ini file and make sure it's pointing to the correct disk and partition. I know TI changes the partition info when you restore to a different partition so it may change the disk info when restored to a different disk (I haven't tested it, though).
